Ok, Ok… I’ve had my electrosex gear sitting in my drawer for a while now. I’ve been afraid and nervous to try it alone, so this weekend, when I wasn’t alone- I gave it a whirl. Or a buzz actually.
Now, I’m hoping that this post will encourage comments and a good discussion because I hate to admit that my review was not really as productive as I wanted it to be. I have two theories for why this is true.
a) I was just over fucked this weekend and by the time we hooked up the electrosex, my nerve endings were half dead.
b) There were no clear cut directions on how to make it work in the box and we did it wrong.
While option A might have been true- option B seems MORE likely. The instructions on the Powerbox tell you how to turn it on and how to maneuver through the settings.

All these things are great- but does it tell you HOW to use it? Ummm no. So I did some research, looked at some pictures and consulted some friends. The unit comes with 4 tens pads. Two pads for each connector. One pad on each side of my vaginal “mound”- the current will move between the two. You don’t have to use all 4 pads. I could plug in one connector with two pads. We tried that. I felt nothing. Nothing. No tingles, no jolts, no nothing. Strange. We went through the programs and the intensity, for me. Nothing.
We put it on him. He placed one of the tens pads under his balls and the other at the base of his penis. Not exactly synonymous with the way it’s supposed to work, but we wanted to see if we were ‘doing it wrong’. Um no…. we weren’t. He felt it. It was warm, and buzzy on the low settings. Strong and jolty on certain settings. The one that he seemed to like the best was a nice steady pulse. Of course in THAT configuration, it wasn’t exactly doing what we wanted it to do, just sending some nice humming vibrations through his balls and the base of his cock. We tried it again on me…. nothing. Weird. Very weird. I made jokes, maybe I have a fat pussy and there’s just too much to get through. Who knows. One suggestion I got was to connect one set of pads into one connector and a bullet in another connector, making the pads flow to the bullet inside me. I wonder if I needed to use both sets of connectors, all 4 pads so they’d flow THROUGH each other. However, that wasn’t the case when we put the two connectors on my partner.
Hmmmm- what went wrong?
In an earlier and separate trial with the tens pads, my partner did claim that there was a lot of strength to the pads and the stimulation was really enjoyable. He really thought I would enjoy the sensations at a medium intensity and that he would have enjoyed playing with the stronger settings. Alas, for me, it just didn’t happen. Any suggestions?
