OhMiBod’s Freestyle from Babeland
This is the most fun I’ve ever had with a vibrator!!
Last year I picked up a Naughtibod. It was a pretty simple set up where you plug your iPod Nano into the vibrator and it vibrates to the beat. It’s a nifty little concept but the vibe was not very big. You also don’t HAVE to use music, you can just use the regular on and off setting. Works decent for thrusting if you are working your clit. It’s pretty the cool the way it works with the music.

The Freestyle from OhMiBod is a step up from the Naughty Nano. The Freestyle is wireless. There is a transmitter that you connect to your ipod, or even to your laptop in the speaker input. Set the Freestyle to the music setting and adjust the settings on the transmitter until the Freestyle starts “dancing” to your music. If you set the transmitter all the way to the highest setting, any loud music will have it run constantly, which is not bad, but where’s the fun in that??
So you lower the transmitter settings so you get the thump thump thump…. or rather, buzz buzz buzzzzzzz.. buzz buzz buzzzzzz. I usually don’t use patterns on my vibrators unless it’s different degrees of high. I spent more time just trying to find cool songs to see how this works. There wasn’t a song that this DIDN’T move to, but some were clearly better than others.
I started with some Green Day. For some reason, Green Day always makes me want to fuck (kind of like Aerosmith). American Idiot- good, fast rhythms. You need to really adust the transmitter on this one otherwise it’s just all high the whole time. Crazy Bitch by Buck Cherry- not bad. Not as much of a steady beat as I would want. I can’t figure out if it sticks with the bassline, or just whatever the emphasis is. Galaxy Bounce by The Chemical Brothers was good. Really good. Nice steady beat, definitely orgasm worthy. You’d have to pick a song that was long enough, otherwish you might be half way there, only to have to back the song up and start again!!!
I think this could be fun. If there’s just spoken word, it will vibe to that too. Hmmm, remember in “Private Parts” when Howard Stern gave that girl an orgasm while she straddled the speaker? Wow- that might be a fun experiment. Maybe I should have a contest to see who can get the the vibe to get me off just with a recording of words or acapella. You know that someone would send me an acapella version of ”Black Betty” or the loudest and most animated version of The Gettysburg Address.

It’s a pretty cool idea really. I think that if you had the right music, maybe the right setting- I think this could be interesting in D/s play. Never knowing what the song is (you don’t HAVE to connect it to speakers), never knowing when the beat would stop, or get stronger.
The vibrations on the Freestyle are not as strong as I’d usually like. Think MicroBullet, but stronger and smoother. You don’t have to use it on Music Mode either. There are also 7 vibration settings if you don’t have your music handy. Batteries for the transmitter are included. The charger for the Freestyle comes with three different adapters so it can fit in international power plugs.
It’s a pretty cool set up!! The packaging is classy.
