Acuvibe Mini from Babeland

I have tried a lot of the massager wand vibes. You all know that I am a Hitachi Slave, like most of my peers in the blog-o-sphere. I’ve been in love with the massager wands since way back in the day that I thought I was some sort of teenage genius for thinking I could use a back massager on my pussy.
I have a Miracle Massager and a Hitachi and I am fans of both. I favor the Hitachi, like most power whores I know. I have used the Acuvibe, and while I did not have a Hitachi handy for a mano y mano comparison test, I found it to be equally pleasurable AND cordless which is a plus. You may need to look elsewhere for comparisons between the two.
When Babeland said I could try the Acuvibe Mini, I jumped at it. While I love my Hitachi- the thought of such power in the privacy of my car- the bathroom- a park… you know, unplugged. I’m all over that. When it arrived I had to charge it, which was kind of a bummer. I was hoping it would arrive charged, as some toys do. So I connected the charger to the vibe. Hmmm- weird.
The connecter has this angle that blocks what I think would be a really SNUG fit for the charger. I thought maybe it was a defect, but as you can tell from the blue indicator light, it is charging. This weird design did cause it to disconnect while charging occasionally, but not without movement.
So my first run with it was great. The vibrations for the Acuvibe (full size) are not as strong as the Hitachi and I would suspect the Acuvibe Mini are less than that. The website for the manufacturer does not give the ‘vibrations per minute’- however, they are strong enough to get me off in a less violent and forceful way. I was able to enjoy it for more than a few minutes. It felt more like masturbation, than just a hard and fast orgasm. Win.
It’s about 9 inches long and less then 2 inches around- so if you have a medium sized purse, you can throw it in for a little on the go fun.
Don’t tell my Hitachi, but I do love the Acuvibe Mini. Its something I can use with a dildo, or even while fucking because it’s smaller and not as strong. If you can use the Hitachi for 5, 10, 15 minutes (you know who you are)- then the mini might be a nice addition during sex, but on it’s own may not be strong enough.
Does it work on acutally muscle aches? Youre damn right. I did use it on my feet after a long day of walking, and I was glad that it didn’t make me itch the way some massagers do. You can also use it on your neck without it scrambling your brain.
I have read some of the reviews on Babeland. Some say there are issues with the charging. You can’t use it while it’s charging, that is a bummer. Some comments were that the charge didn’t last very long, but I probably used it a good 7 or 8 times before I had to recharge it. Of course I don’t go for more than 5 or 1o minutes. There were also comments about the sound. Of course it’s not silent, but I didn’t think it was so loud that I thought, “Jeez- this is TOO loud.” Face it, vibrators make noise.
Over all- I love it. It stays close by. It won’t replace my Hitachi, but it’s definately good. Very good.
