family drama I am not involving myself in…- SFW
I came home from a wonderful Christmas with most of my family to a posting on the family message board from my oldest sister who is disappointed that nobody called to see what her family was doing. She just had surgery and cannot travel this Christmas. She claimed that not one of us called to see what they were doing or to see if we could all (the siblings) get together. She was angry that we all went to my aunts house.
First off, this is not true- because I DID call to see if she was going to my aunts. My plan, since October, was to go to my aunts house because my favorite cousin/best friend was in town, so that was my plan. Regardless of anyone ELSE’S plan, that was my plan. And really I am under the assumption that we ALL- including HER- to whatever we want for Christmas. We all have extended families and we all have our own lives. This year she felt left out because she could not travel- she just had surgery, removing her CANCER, and she apparently wanted to host Christmas?!?!? How in the holy fuck does that make any sense? Hey sis we know that you are struggling to get around, but how about you host the big holiday this year???
I was tempted- very tempted to respond to her post to say “hey- I think you are out of line. I DID call, and you know, I am almost CERTAIN that you said you were having Christmas at your house with your friends. your choice. I was going to our aunts. MY CHOICE. Our brothers decided to go to the Aunts house- THEIR choice.”
Our mom is not around, so it’s just us siblings. I love my siblings. All of them. I am annoyed by this, which is why I’m ranting. But I am not going to get involved in this family drama.

Since I have gotten an overwhelming response to my last post. I guess I will loosen the format of this blog. Not all stories, maybe some more about my REAL life. Since I know that my posts get updated on youporn, I will label them with- “SFW” (safe for work) so if you are not interested, then you know not to click.

Family drama! I know all about that~~Jeez! Can I relate.
Christmas brings out the best & worst in people; even family, no matter how much you do, or give, never seem to think they’re getting what they need from others. You’re smart to stay out of the “drama.” I don’t think you were it’s target~~just a guess.
